oh the weather outside is frightful...
How are all of the East Coast ladies fairing?
We have about a foot here now, and its still coming down. Luckily we have no where to be this weekend (I postponed the one plan that I had), so we are just bedding down and watching movies.
Although we have taken the pup outside a few times to play... how can you resist this excitement:

Yeah we got a ton of snow! We actually did go out and play for a little bit.
We've gotten about 18" and it is still falling at about 1"/hr.
We got out with the kids this morning when we had about 8" and they had a BLAST. We went to the playground and they slid down the slides into huge snow piles over and over and over...laughing the whole time. We haven't been out since noon since the kids are only 37" - they'd be up to their chest! It has been nice having a lazy day - well, as lazy as you can have with two 3.5 year olds who demand your attention all of the time! L and I are ready for some quiet time.
Three teenage boys came by this evening offering their shoveling skillz in the morning. SOLD.
The weather forecast says that it isn't supposed to get much above freezing all week - so it'll be around for awhile. Sigh.
Only about 4" here so far. hope there isn't too much more. I don't want Carol to be snowed in at work.
Guess we get a white Chrtistmas after all.

Yeah, its supposed to be in the 30s all week, so I don't see this snow going anywhere! Luckily the roads should all be cleared off by the time we have to travel for Christmas, so maybe we'll have all the pretty parts of the white Christmas, without the dangerous parts!

Can I say just how jealous I am of you ladies and your wonderfully white Christmas? I grew up in WA State, always being able to play in the snow, now I live in CA where it's been in the 70's all week.
I need a snow fix.

Our dog is about a foot and a half tall. The snow is about 2 feet deep. Even this morning, she was in it up to the shoulders and had to bounce to move around. At this point, she can only go out if we carry her to the four-wheel tire tracks in the street.
