Looking to take a trip to either Key West or Key Largo.....
Never been to the keys and looking for some info. All I know is that Key West and Key largo are a good distance apart...
DH and I are looking for a nice, affordable place to stay on the beach.....
But, I have heard that there is not much of a beach scene in the keys... is that correct? DH and I are big beach people, and love people watching, so we actually do not want a private beach...
Would also love a place with some good places to eat!
Thanks ladies!

<a href="http://s279.photobucket.com/albums/kk121/behapybride/?action=viewIf you stick with the Keys, definitely Key West, but like you said there are no beaches. They are terrible and honestly, I don't think it's very fun if you don't have a boat. I hate going to the keys without a boat!
If you want good beaches and people watching, I would go to South Beach! Beautiful beaches, lots of people, great food, lots of shopping and entertainment. There are plenty of affordable options as well if you stay at a smaller place and a hotel right outside of the main area.
