the zoo (haven't made it to the WAP yet), sea world's fireworks on the bay, the beaches pb, mb & la jolla, balboa park (we love napping on the grass in front of the conservatory), mh loves going to skate parks, downtown, etc.

i could go on!    we've been here a almost a year, so we are having fun exploring this great city!

We love spending time in Balboa Park. We take a picnic and a blanket. Relax, walk through some museums, take photos, etc. There's always something interesting going on--art show, flower show, turtle show. We've run into some interesting stuff. Last time it was a Girl Scout pow-wow. Little girls and their moms everywhere!!!!

My husband and I are so excited to move there. We move in Feb, and there seems to be so much to do. We live in Jacksonville, FL now, and after 8 years, I'm ready to move.. and the Navy is sending us to San Diego, so we're so exicted.

What do you do for work?

I work at the Helen Woodward Animal Center.  It's such an awesome place.  I also work at a television studio and that's fun work, too.

A tv studio would be a lot of fun to work in. What do you do at the tv studio?

I'm a stand-in.  Meaning, when the actors aren't there and they're doing the lighting and stuff I stand there pretending to be one of them.  It pays really well (it's union) and it's a lot of fun.  LONG hours, though.
