So my sister is going to Florida (Markko Islands) for Christmas with her boyfriend so she opened presents yesterday. It was total last minute and I was only told because I happened to call my mom to ask about Christmas. I had to rearrange my plans yesterday to go to my parents instead of what I had intended on doing.
So my sister is opening her gifts. She got a lot of stuff for her house (she just moved in after thanksgiving so she doesn't have a lot of stuff yet), pyrex, vases, comforter and sheets set (all stuff she specifically asked for) along with a beautiful vera bradley bag to use as a carry on for her trip.
Anyway, after she opens all her gifts my mom tells us she got our dad 4th row tickets to see Carrie Underwood. My sister throws a fit! She was so mad that mom didn't get her tickets to go too! My sisters boyfriend was sitting there, like aren't you grateful for what you just opened. Seriously!
Re: ungrateful little brat
yea, your title sums it up.
Even if she wanted the tix - even if she had asked specifically for those tix (which she didn't) - that is super rude and ungreatful to say that.
And considering the history of gifts you have gotten from her, it doesn't sound like her track record allows "beggars to be choosers"!
