Awful. Thanks to the snow we weren't able to go see my brother for Christmas because the prison canceled visits Friday evening because of all the snow they already had down there (he's south of me and it started snowing there first). This was supposed to be our Christmas and the snow ruined it. So much for global warming. I've got almost 2 feet of global warming outside.
Friday-- my parents came a day early so we just hung out.
Saturday-- we had our Christmas morning and then I made a fantastic dinner and we ate our faces off.
Sunday-- We went to see the Nutcracker and it was fabulous! Loved it!
Today-snow day!
Friday: Picked up Eric @ the airport...had a nice dinner out and a wonderful evening at home!
Sat: Went clothes & grocery shopping, netbook shopping, and cleaned the house for the in-laws. We started to watch "Up" with the family, but couldn't finish it since the in-laws arrived.
Sun: Nice sunday at home, watched the Chargers game, and went to my aunt & uncle's for dinner.
Eric has been trying to buy "The Hangover" dvd all weekend long, and I've been denying it from it, or telling him that we don't need it or a reminder of his Vegas weekend. (I bought it for him for Christmas) FORGETFUL MIL knows this and the whole family kept making jokes and references to the movie during dinner about their fave parts of the movie and when we came home she was asking about the comedy movie that I bought so we could watch it. I was like what are you talking about? I have no idea!
Friday - Picked up some last minute things (books, gift card) before the storm set in.
Saturday - Sat on the couch and did nothing because it was snowing alllllll day.
Sunday - Went out and played in the snow since it had stopped.Then dug the car out and walked to the nearby grocery store to get some cash in case we needed it for today.
What a weekend! We got the biggest storm the area has seen in years and it wreaked havoc on the roads and metro. Thankfully, things are mostly back to normal now, but I know some people are still having issues.
Friday, went home and relaxed. I was in bed by 8:00 and asleep by 9:00.
Saturday, Jordan and I finished our Christmas shopping. We shopped until we dropped!!! Went to a friends house for a Christmas party then went home and watched He's Just Not That Into You.
Sunday, church, picked up one more present for SIL at Pier One. Wrapped and cleaned house. Then went to Outback for a friends B-Day and saw Avartar.
friday - began our house-sitting adventure... ugh. already over it. 3 nuerotic dogs and a weird cat... oh well. another few days of this.
saturday - went shopping, trying to finish up. locked my keys, phone, purse, everything in my car while waiting for zach to get home. he got home, we went to dinner with a friend.
sunday - church, crazy lunch with friends, zach cleaned our house while i decorated our little tree and stockings. then we went to a nice steak dinner with zach's dad.
Fri- I didn't feel good so I just chilled on the couch
Sat- I went to the hospital for some observation hrs for school and I almost freakin passed out!!! Idk if it was an anxiety attack or what but all of the nurses were awesome and brought me some OJ and PB and graham crackers. Then I took my car to mazda and headed to the mall for a bit. I actually went out sat night and had a great time!
Sun- holy lazy day! I didn't get outta bed til like 6 pm....well, except to pee of course!
