That require a mixer. I'm trying to kill mine before Feb. It's ancient, it's on its last legs (was H's grandmothers, remember), and is making a horrible noise every time I use it. Apparently it's a KA that was made by a company that is no longer used so there are no parts available anymore for this particular KA.

H won't let me get a new one until this one craps out. Can you help me hurry that up before my birthday? I want a new KA.

Butter Cookie

4 parts glue to 5 parts flour. 1 part concrete, 2 T water, some cinnamon and some vanilla. Mix for 6 hours on high

H nearly gave our KA a heart attack when he tried to make a double batch of wheat bread. You could try that.

The damn thing won't die. It whines and smells like it's burning but it won't keel over. I'm tempted to drop it but then H will get all bent out of shape.

Lots and lots and lots of bread.

Also, if you have the grinder attachment, you could grind oatmeal. That broke my brand-new KA within a month of having it (so we got a replacement). I about strangled my husband for that one. The motor made a terrible noise after that, and I called the KA lady and she told me to box it right up.

It's not smoking. Just smells. I've been doing twice my usual holiday baking just trying to destroy this thing.

When my friend wanted a new dishwasher... she stuck forks in the mechanics of it.  I'm not sure where you could stick forks in the KA that would kill it. But I liked Butter Cookie's vanilla cinnamon cement recipe.
