30 Day Shred

I bought this yesterday to take with me to my parents house while I'm up there for Christmas. It's a pain to go to the gym or to yoga up there, and I thought this would be a good, economical option because it was only $10.

I haven't watched it yet. Is it something I can do everyday? Will I want to? Any suggestions?

Re: 30 Day Shred

  • You can do it every day. I need to get back into doing it. I really liked the work outs.
  • You should be able to if you're in fairly good shape.  And even if you're not, after about 5 days you'll be great.

  • It can be done every day. You will hate it the first day, love it by the third, and be bored with it by the 7th though. But then you just go to the next level workout and start the process all over again.
  • I'm in good shape. I'm a bit sore today, but I'm going to Body Pump tonight.

Cardio tomorrow AM before work, because we're leaving for the airport straight after. I figure I'll do the 30 day shred most mornings that I'm home. I have 3lb weights, which I think will be more than enough.

    How long is the workout?

I also like having it as a DVD because if I don't make it to the gym, I can always pop it in at home and get a quick workout in.

  • Each workout is 20 minutes, but it is a strenuous 20 minutes.

  • That's perfect. 20 minutes first thing in the morning and then running around and cooking all day should be enough. I am just finally starting to get some definition in my arms, so I want to keep that going. Also, I need to counteract all the food I'll be eating.

  • That's wonderful.  You're so dedicated.  I think this NYE thing will get me kick-started until the NY and then I have P90x to keep me company.

  • Thanks! I'm trying.

I want to try the P90x. How is it? I heard it's amazing.

  • I would not know.  I have to rip the DVDs still.  Oops.

  • Ha! Well let me know when you give them a try :)
