My DH and I are about to celebrate that 1-year milestone on Nov. 24th and I can't wait! I can hardly believe it's been a year already! We're going away for two days to Philly, since we only live about 2 hours away.
The traditional gift for the first year is paper, so I got my husband a board game (which is made from paper.) BUT...not just any board game..."The Battle of the Sexes" boardgame, which is also the Simpsons Edition! The coolest thing about this, is that during our honeymoon to Jamaica last November, it rained A LOT, so they would put out boardgames and we ended up playing that specific game a good bit during our trip. PLUS...DH LOVES The Simpsons (as do I) so I thought that would be a clever "paper" gift -- a way for him to remember that rainy honeymoon...
What's everyone else doing for their anniversaries?
Re: 1 Year Anniversary...
We don't really have plans because I'm due a week later, so Ryan just might be here for our anniversary.
Weird, but we were also married 11/24 AND went to Jamaica on our HM! Where did you stay?
WOW...congrats on the baby! How exciting! That's so great!
We went to Ocho Rios and stayed at the Couples Resort there. We absolutely LOVED it! Where did you stay? Did you enjoy it?
Thanks!
We stayed at Sandals Grande in Ocho Rios. We had an awesome time. We got there 11/27 and all I for the first 2-3 days all it did was RAIN! I was so happy when it finally stopped.
