Very <1000ish last night
H's grandma lives with MIL, too. She cooks a big dinner for them once/week. Last night, she made pizza steak. That's right: PIZZA steak.
She claimed she had some steaks and some tomatoes she wanted to use, so she just threw it together. It was a few cube steaks, slathered with pizza sauce, doused with oregano & onions, and topped with sliced tomatoes.
Now, I love pizza, and I love steak, but not in concert together.
It ended up tasting like a swiss steak with way too much seasoning. I ate a small helping so I didn't hurt her feelings.
And then an hour later, I was doubled over on the toilet and ended up going to bed early because I was so sick. Thankfully, I'm okay this morning. But I think I'll be doing some more cooking while I'm here. Let's hope there's no more pizza steak on the menu ever again.

What an odd combo. A philly steak pizza would be good, or swiss steak on noodles, but her combo sounds horrid.
