Oh my goodness, I am so sleepy this morning! We are just about packed for our trip to PA - just need to do the last minute stuff when I get home from work. Then it's about 3 hours in the car to our comfy hotel room! I am dreaming of those soft sheets!!!

I'm heading to work here in a minute. Have I mentioned that I HATE my job, and the way they treat there employees. I suppose I have to stick it out for the paycheck though, but it's awful.

Well it looks like we might be going to Rhode Island to visit some of K's family. The original plan was to stay home and possibly go over to Abba916's house later for some wii fun and food. But K's aunt told family she was looking forwarding to seeing us. So if the weather hold outs we'll be driving out there. I'm kind of bummed. It will be nice to see family but I was really really lovin' the idea of K and I have one last holiday alone before the baby arrives.
You're coming our way right when we're heading out of town! I know what you mean - I loved last year when C and I had Xmas morning all to ourselves (we saw my family later in the day), and I was looking forward to exchanging gifts at home, just the two of us...but C had my gift shipped to Harrisburg!!
Hopefully you'll have a nice time in RI. I don't know where in the state you'll be headed, but if you can, stop by Newport! It's one of my very favorite places and so lovely around the holidays!! You could tour one of the mansions or just check out shops and yummy restaurants on Thames Street! If you wanted to spend the night, there are lots of cute B&Bs that are usually cheap in the winter - especially last minute! (A night away there was my gift to C last year.)

I'm so excited for Christmas to be here. I love this time of year, and I can't wait to celebrate with all kinds of family.

Not too far. His grandfather has a Christmas party on C.Eve every year, so we'll head to that for a few hours... but he's only a 1/2 hour away.
Christmas day we're heading to my parents. That's about an 1.5hour drive.

You girls throw my kind of a party! Where's the scratch-n-sniff computer monitor? Or maybe a lickable one, like in Willy Wonka? Mmm.
My girl is home (and driving me nuts, sadly), but it's mostly just nice to have her home for the holiday. It's a little strange this year, since our other "family" has bio family obligations on days we normally celebrate together. So Christmas Day will be quiet, and I think Holly, Ren?e and I are going to see Sherlock Holmes. Then our real family celebration on the 26th with our nearest and dearest.
I am also getting nervous the closer it gets to Christmas. Our first cycle TTC, and so far so good, and my period is a couple days late, but nothing I can confirm with a test yet. I'd be totally fine with good news on Christmas, but bad news would totally suck. I'd really rather know sooner than later.
Sadly, I have to eat, drink, and run since Carter refused his nap and Gray didn't sleep very long. I was hoping for a nice break this afternoon...oh, well.
Thanks for bringing the Starbucks. L got one for me this morning, but after Cartr got sick, I just wasn't in the mood to drink it!
