T&P needed for a coworker
John is a professor in a small department at a small liberal arts school. The night before last one of his collagues' house burned down. The good news is that everyone is alright, and she was able to acknowledge that. They also have homeowners insurance, so they will be able to rebuild. The saddest part is the 6 & 8 year old girls she has, they lost everything and so close to Christmas.
So please if you have a moment, think of Bev and her family during this time of togetherness and thanksgiving.

Oh, that is just terrible. I will definitely be thinking of them.
This exact same thing happened last Christmas to MH's childhood next door neighbor. They had a 10 year old son and they lost EVERYTHING. It was terrible.
