Recommend your camcorder
We are going to get a new camcorder when we get off early on Thursday so we can get our baby's first Christmas on video. What camcorder do you have and why is it wonderful?

Came to ask the same question. High on our list right now is the Flip for its convenience and price. Other recs are also very appreciated.

I swear by Sony hard disk drive camcorders. I got mine a few years ago -- back when they were brand new and crazy expensive. (I paid around $1000 and also bought my sis a top of the line Panasonic HDD camcorder b/c she wanted soemthing different)
Now they are soooooooo much cheaper and have much more HDD space. You can record for what seems like forever! Flip camcorders are small, but they don't have the capacity and options.
