I have things to say

1) Watched Ratatouilles - cute movie. Very good. I know, I am about three years behind on this.

2) Does anyone else watch I Survived or Pawn Starts? I have things to say about these shows.

3) Living here sucks large b@lls if you are an allergy sufferer. The wind blows everything in (dirty, literally) from every direction. Right now, I am hopped up on four times the legal dosage of claritin.

4) CW has her children here with her. Two out of the three have strep. I am pretty stoked about this.

5) As much as I love fostering, it has been awesome just to be the three of us again.

6) I'm thinking of turning our guest room into a temporary scrapping room. H never goes in there anyway and already refers to it as "my room," so I don't think he'll care.

7) I am not looking forward to traveling for the holidays. Thank goodness I am having a GTG with Bacon and her Mama to spice things up.

Re: I have things to say

  • I watch Pawn Stars. I kind of have a crush on Rick.
  • 1. I love this movie.

    2. We watch Pawn Stars.

    3. Apparently, living here sucks for allergies too. I have no idea why, but I doesn't bother me.

    4. I'd follow them around with a bottle of lysol.

    5. I am happy Iggy got adopted.

    6. You should do that.

    7. Mmm. Bacon. I'm making Ham for dinner.

  • Aren't there rules in your office about bringing in sick children? Only one person here has school age children, and when they're sick, she goes home. She doesn't bring them to work with her.

  • I am totally guilty of sterotyping those Pawn Stars guys. I thought they would be all red necky and ignorant. Rick is mad smart about American history. I love how each person gets a lesson from him about the item they bring to his store.

Also, big networks....why are there a billion shows on Monday at 9 - this makes my DVR haz a sad.

  • Technically, I imagine there are rules somewhere. No one enforces them so no one follows them.

  • I was too. Although Corey (Big Hoss) and Chumlee are idiots. Did you see last night when Corey's cousin worked at the store? She was rednecky. Overplucked eyebrows, skanky tank top, too much eye makeup, and a cheesy tat on her back.

I love some of the stuff that people bring into them. Like the glass sword. WTF? Who would ever buy that.

  • I watch Pawn Stars. The old man is hilarious. Chum needs to DIAF. Some of the people, usually young guys selling family treasures, make me angry. Especially when they say things like, "I found this in grandpa's attic and I don't have any use for it anymore."

  • The episode with the kite that Chum get's stuck on the light pole cracks me up.
  • Although Corey (Big Hoss) and Chumlee are idiots.

Yes. Yes they are. This is why all you ever hear Rick tell Chum to do is draw up the paperwork.

Did you see last night when Corey's cousin worked at the store?

Yes, she was very, very WT and an idiot. She obviously had no idea about the business, which is surprising after watching a few shows.
