I've been wearing the same lip & cheek colors for I think at least 2 years, probably 3. I don't wear eye shadow because I am supremely incompetent at putting it on. And no matter what I do in regards to eye liner or mascara, I always end up with racoon eyes - wait, is that what it is called when you have all the black makeup in your under-eye area as well?
2.) Another question - are you a lipstick, lipgloss, or none girl? I'm lipgloss - I haven't worn lipstick in years, ever since lip gloss became all the rage. Now I hear that lipstick is back in, but I don't want to wear it.
3.) third question - do you remember your "worst" makeup look looking back? Mine was in junior high, when I wore frosted peach lipstick and teal eyeliner - on the bottom part of the eye, and not the top. so weird.
Re: 1.) When's the last time you changed your daily makeup look?
1. I usually wear makeup every day to work, including cover up or powder, eyeshadow, mascara, eyeliner and blush. I have two sets of eyeshadow for daily use that I wear.
2. I always have chapstick on because I tend to bite or lick my lips which makes them really dry. I don't wear lipstick at all but always have lip gloss on over my chapstick.
3. In high school I used to wear white eyeliner just above the black eyeliner. It sounds weird but I remember really liking the way it looked back then.
1) The last time I had a major change, it was when a friend introduced me to bare minerals. I became slightly obsessed and bought a bunch of powders and eyeshadows... probably 2 years ago.
2) I'm also a chapstick addict. I only put lipstick on in the morning, or if I'm going out.
3) Junior high, sparkly blue eyeshadow. Nuff said.
1. I went to Sephora to learn how to do my own wedding make up this spring--that really changed how I do make up. Most days, if I'm just staying home I don't wear anything. But if I'm going out somewhere I feel like I know how to do it right: primer, liquid foundation and the MUFE HD powder. I have tons of fun colors of eyeshadow and love liquid liner (hate pencil). Mascara is a must. I also have some other fun things if I'm going out on the town--shimmer highlight and such (I'm on F&B--can you tell?)
2. Both, at different times. I keep a gloss in my purse at all times for on-the-go, but if a lipstick goes with my OOTD, I throw that in, too.
3. I remember some too-dark, brownish lipstick. It was the late 90's. Gross.
