Obsessed.
Idris Elba was great. Beyonce, pretty decent. her hair bothered me a lot, and so did her shoes. do people really walk around the house in heels? Ali Larter was good, and made me really start to feel suffocated.
i rate it MEH. if it's on and you're curious to see it, it's not terribly bad. i thought that Beyonce's character was a little over the top with her jealousy.
Taken.
Liam Neisen was great. Famke Jensen, also good. The one who played the 17 yr old daughter was a dufus, and i didn't know that 17 y.o.'s could be so goofy. it really bothered me how she ran around like a child.
The mother's role pissed me off. is it me or are men persecuted in movies and TV shows these days?
anyway, watch it if you haven't seen it already. it's action packed, and it didn't leave me wanting anything more (except for Liam Neisen to punch Jensen in the face at the end).
Re: 2 movie reviews.
OMG- Taken was GREAT! And I agree about the mother.
I wanted to yell "It's all your fault b1tch! How does that feel? Now get down on your knees and satisfy Liam Neeson!"

obsessed is only worth ffwding to the end to see 'yonce v. larter. and to evaluate all your shoe purchases.
maggie grace is a terrible, terrible actress. i know i shouldn't be bothered, but really -- girl is bad at her job.
YES. it was 100% her fault.
and really, knowing that Neisen was an ex-super agent, wouldn't she want her child to know any tips on keeping herself safe?? idiots. i was glad he screamed at the step-dad when the guy was acting like his pride was more important when the kid was now missing.
i agree, monkey - the ending was good. i wanted to get a few hits in myself. also, the shoes. excellent shoes.
but the character derek was a sucker IMO. he was out of the house for 3 months? had he ever given her any reason to mistrust him? i didn't get that there was a reason from this movie. she was insane, and he should have stayed away.
and she's 26 IRL! 17 year olds are not that awkward, as far as i know.
she was a little btch and her dad should never have signed the consent form based on her attitude about it. crying and running from the lunch table. ugh.
Yeah, and the guilt trip she played on her dad to get him to say yes to that trip... definitely sounded like more of an obnoxious tween than a woman who is a year away from being able to vote. I am utterly SHOCKED that she is 26 IRL. Hopefully she is just a really good actor (or bad actor... seeing as she played it WAY too young)
