Does anyone know where i can buy guest hand towels...like the paper throw-away kind? Any big chain stores (anywhere BUT online because I need them for tomorrow)? I've tried Target and BBB with no luck.
I want to put them in the bathroom for guests to dry their hands with instead of using a regular hand towel.
Re: guest hand towels
i think i'm going to go back to BBB and check more thoroughly..i was there yesterday morning but was in a rush with my hands full so i didn't look carefully. i also thought of Hallmark, so hopefully between the two i can find some! thanks for the thought.
Ditto. I have always found them at these places. The last time I bought them at BB&B I found them in the clearance section in the Fall. I always find them at Factory Card Outlet in lots of colors year round though.
do you have a Party City or some other kind of party supply store? i'd check there.
why don't you want people to use the hand towels? it's more eco-friendly and you can always just pop in once or twice and put a fresh towel in there or leave a small sack.
i've also seen in restaurants where they have plain, white washcloths, the kind they sell in 12-20 packs at target. you can roll up a basketful and just have an other small basket for the dirties.
I got this idea from my gramma who used to use pretty little hand towels, but now that there are 27 grandchildren and over 20 great grand children and counting needed something more plentiful.
I got face clothes from Target, they come in bunches for a couple bucks,(white and coordinating colored bunches) and I just put them out in a basket with a wicker basket on the floor for spent ones. I toss one in the basket before guests come so they get the picture. Then I can just wash and reuse.
Gross story....A friend of mine used a normal hand towel for the longest time...until a guest used the hand towel to wipe!!! (and left it on the rack)
When she went to put it in the laundry it smelled like urine. She now uses the face cloths from target as well! It works great, and looks nice.
