Reccomend a Bankruptcy Lawyer

A close friend of mine is looking for a bankruptcy lawyer.  I told her I would chek with my "resources" and get back to her in a couple days.

Thanks!

Re: Reccomend a Bankruptcy Lawyer

  • In my office (we don't do personal bankruptcies so are often asked for recs), we frequently recommend TJ Mullin.
  • I know 2 people (one was my FIL that against my better judgment, I paid for, and the other an old co-worker) that used Adams Law Group and had nothing but good things to say about them. In fact she bought a new car right after the bankruptcy discharged. I do know that the laws have gotten a lot stricter and it is harder to just file chapter 7 (as it should be). Now you have to take credit classes before and after filing. I think I paid $1700.00 total plus $100.00 for the classes. Adams Law Group One Mid Rivers Mall Drive, Suite 200 Saint Peters, Missouri 63376 Telephone: (636) 397-4744 Fax: (636) 397-3978 E-mail: contact@thinkadamslaw.com

Anything else you need to know, just ask. I filled out all the paperwork for my FIL, took all the classes, met with the lawyer... I basically did it all. GL.
