As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

AW: I *finally*....
got a new job!!!!!!!
I had an interview Monday, and was promptly called back to have a second interview. The principal is on vacation this coming week, and so he left my references his cell. My last reference, my old principal, just called him back. He called me a half hour ago to offer me the job!! He didn't want me to be left hanging all week. I am thrilled!!!! I will be teaching first grade in the town next to me

Thank you! It is such a relief to not have to worry how I am going to... umm..pay the mortgage.... Buy groceries...
I am excited for first grade! I have never taught it before, other than interships. But with all the experience I have with K, I think it will be an easy transition.
I will be in Weare. It's a very nice school and the administration seems wonderful so far!
Amye, they are an RC school. Any suggestions for which book I should read first? I won't be able to make it to the workshops this time around, as they are this week.
