speaking of lying to kids...did I ever tell y'all about "Timmy"?

Timmy is my dead imaginary brother.
When we were going swimming/playing w/ electricty/etc, Dad would tell us what not to do...and end it with a very mysterious "that's what happened to TImmy"
Timmy drowned. And was electrocuted. ANd impaled himself on a fence. And all sorts of things.
W/ varying degrees of ickiness depending on how morbid and funny we were all feeling.
I know it sounds disturbing...it was hilarious. Still is.

I had a cat named Timmy. Sweet and loving as can be but dumb dumb dumb. He was named after Jackie Martling's cat (from Howard Stern) who was 'retarded' (he had something like cerebral palsy). Jackie let him out by accident and he was found run over. I vowed my next cat would be named Timmy in honor of him.
RIP, to both.

Min, that sounds scary.
Dad's was just...funny. He gets a 'look' that says "I won't say I'm kidding but you know".
Except for the wig/dead ladies head incident, I don't think he scarred any of us.
