So, apparently the pain I was feeling the last 2 days wasn't gas....
After 11 hours in the ER, an X-ray, a trans-abdominal ultrasound (very painful with the tech repeatedly shoving the wand into my ribcage), a CAT scan (the iodine solution really upset my stomach and I was in the bathroom every 2 minutes), an abdominal ultrasound, and a trans-vaginal ultrasound (dildo wand), they determined that I have a 3+"cyst on my right ovary. That was about the best outcome of the different conditions they suspected, unfortunately not really treatable.
Ken and I didn't get any sleep, so he's taking a 45 minute power nap and going to work. I'll fall over when he gets out of bed and gets me my meds from the pharmacy. I'm full of morphine right now, so not really in a good state to drive. I called in sick - but at least have the ER beacelet to prove it.
I'll probably be around tomorrow, but for those who aren't, have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
