Boot question

Christmas Eve I am wearing a long brown knit skirt, a goldish/brown jacket and a white shirt.  Would black boots look bad?  I have some brown slingback shoes that I would wear if it were a different season.

I dont' think it would look terrible.  HOwever, you should go buy brown boots.  This is a perfect reason to do so.

Buying new shoes isn't an option.  I live in the boonies so if it isn't sold at Payless, Wal-Mart or the one other little shoe store, I'm out of luck.  And Payless does have some boots that I think are cute, even if they are made of plastic but I have WIDE SHAFT ISSUES.

It's okay. I have wide shaft issues, too. I bought a pair of boots online at Lane Bryant and they fit really well. They're actually a little loose in the shaft. (Ha!)
