My grandmother canceled Christmas at her house (pretty lats minute) and so my mom is pulling together things at the last minute. Part of the plan is to all go see amovie, and we are all leaning towards Sherlock Holmes.
Is anyone else looking forward to going to a movie after your Christmas lunch?
Re: Going to a movie?
My husband and I do this as a tradition but I don't think we will get to go see one this year.
We were even in Mexico a few years ago and we went to see one there on Christmas day. It was fun.
It's Complicated looks fun too.
I'm excited and hoping that they show the new Iron Man preview before SH.

A ton of people do this. (all my Jewsih friends go to the movies on Christmas . . . it is just something they always do)
A ton also do this after Thanksgiving. This is why I don't do it . . . it is too crowded!
we saw a movie last night with my mom and brother. this is the first christmas without my dad and we wanted to downplay the holiday as much as possible.
i would love to see sherlock holmes but beware - Christmas is one of the busiest days of the year to see a movie. especially since no other place is open. i used to work at a movie theater and nothing except life or death emergencies could get me near a theater christmas day.
