Holiday plans...
I'm not sure who is around today, but thought it would be nice to share our plans for the holiday!
Christmas Eve: we have to drop some things off at my sister's in the morning, then we'll be heading to Cornwall around 1:30 to get to my FIL's service at 3pm. We're having dinner at their house afterwards, then opening presents!!! My MIL has church at 10pm (she's a choir director at another church) so we should be on the road to home around that time.
Christmas Day: in the morning we're opening presents at my parent's house w/ my whole family, it's fun to watch my nieces and nephews open all their gifts 
We'll have breakfast there (I'm making the easy Monkey Bread recipe from the Pioneer Woman website, yummmm) then rush home to get showered and ready before heading to dinner at my sister's house for 2pm. The rest of the day we just relax, eat and drink too much, and play games.
I won't be on here probably until after the holiday, so I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas!!!

We're headed to my mom's tomorrow afternoon for sledding and then Christmas Eve dinner (which is really just lots and lots of appetizers!) We'll spend Christmas morning at home opening presents with the girls, and then my parents and brother are coming over for brunch. Christmas night is dinner at my aunt's house.....and then we head up to NY over the weekend to do it all again with Dh's side of the family!

Christmas Eve: in the early afternoon we will head over to the inlaws and spend time with them. then around 6:00 we will eat the traditional italian seven fishes feast at my parent's house for dinner and then just hang around and enjoy each others company.
Christmas Morning/Afternoon: we will head over to my parent's house in the morning and eat breakfast. the kids will then open their presents and play with all of their new toys while the adults exchange presents. we will then eat dinner around 2:00. we will probably play games between present opening and dinner.
Christmas Night: we will be eating dinner at 5:00 at the inlaws and then just hang out there the rest of the night and play games.
Thank goodness my parents and my inlaws live about 2 - 3 miles from each other....so its a quick commute!!

Christmas Eve - Getting up very early and driving to the Smokies! I think we are overlapping with DH's stepfather's daughter so it will be nice to meet her and her family.
Christmas - I am not really sure what the plan is. We will open presents and eat for sure! I am totally excited to give DH his big gift, he has no idea what it is.
Day after Christmas - Hopefully MIL will want to go to the outlets in Pigeon Forge, I really want to eat breakfast at the Pancake Pantry in Gatlinburg. Depending on how step-FIL is doing we may go out to a show in the evening.
I've been moving slowly today and am still on the mend (had to have my aunt come take care of me & Ethan yesterday while Matt was at work), but I think I may feel up to our Christmas Eve plans!!!! *Crossing fingers*
We'll spend Christmas Eve with my family. All of Ethan's great aunts are super excited to see him. They wrote about how magical Christmas Eve will be with "our precious Ethan" there. There is something so special about watching them love him the way they have loved me my whole life.
Christmas morning we'll be home, just the 3 of us, opening gifts. We'll go to MIL's for Christmas dinner & exchange gifts with the IL's tomorrow too.

We are going to the Christmas Eve service at my church tonight and then to my aunts for a little.
Tomorrow we will open our gifts here and then head to my sisters and eat and open gifts there.
