What's your New Year's Resolution?

Here are a few from our office:

Nest Krissy: To re-do her bathroom.

Nest Lauren: To eat less processed sugar and run a 5k.

Nest Heather: To stay out of the office candy jar.

Me: To get my bedroom closet organized. I think in order to do this I need to embrace the idea of actually throwing things out. Or convince my landlord to build me a bigger closet!

What's yours?

  • My  New Year's Resolution's are always:  wake up earlier, exercise when I say I'm going to exercise and drink less.  I never stick with it consistently throughout the year though.

This year I hope to keep some basic attitude changes in mind and hopefully it'll put me on the right track for saving money and just being overall happy.

     Here's my list so far:

    1) Find what I love & then throw myself into it.

    2) Up my standards.

    3) Work hard, have faith. Keep negative people away!!

    4) Know that I'm worth it.

    5) FOCUS my energy on POSITIVE outcomes.

I hope to have some great accomplishments in 2010.

  • 1. Loose 60 pounds.

    2. Take my first actuary test.

    3.  Clean out and rearrange the man room so we can get a spare bed in there.

  • To be healthier. I'm normally not a healthy person, and have had no interest in it. I'm thinking a different way now that I'm getting older though.
  • my resolution is to craft often, because i enjoy it and because i want to be able to give homemade gifts for birthdays and Christmas next year.

another resolution is to create an emergency fund.  we had an unexpected medical expense this year when i fell and broke my ankle - i was out of work for 3 months and we didn't have any savings to cushion us during that time, so we are resolved to learn from that experience and be more prepared.

  • Take more initiative in all aspects of my life: work, opening our business, reading, and fun. Sometime I let the world get to me and if I am not made to do something, I do nothing. I want to start taking initiative and jump start myself by creating work for myself when I'm free at work, making sure I read (non-fiction too), and making sure I make time for fun (and watching tv/movies isn't the only way to have fun)

Stay healthy: I always get in health kicks and eat really healthy and workout, and then I fallout of it and start doing everything wrong. I only fluctuate about 10 pounds throughout the year and am not overweight even with the winter 10, but I want to be healthy overall. I want to be fit and in shape, not just for looks, but so I can feel good and be energized.
