Monday Poll
I dread Mondays so I thought I'd start mine off with a post. I'm hoping reading responses to my poll will keep me somewhat entertained this morning
1. How was your weekend? Did you do anything interesting or productive?

1. How was your weekend? Did you do anything interesting or productive? Well, on Friday, I changed my name, did some shopping, test drove a new car, and went to the GTG.
Saturday, I helped a friend of mine move. Her DH is a firefighter and got held on due to an outbreak on NoCal fires (again) and she had to be out of her house.
Sunday, I slept and did laundry. I think I have the flu.
2. If you didn't have to work today, what would you rather be doing? Where would you like to be? I was so close to calling in sick today. I have a fever and ache all over...so I would rather be at home in bed.
3. What are you having for lunch? Do you normally bring your lunch to work or buy? Mondays are grocery shopping day at work...so I will head out for yummy salad supplies.
4. What's your favorite day of the week? What's your favorite day of the year? I love Fridays. I get a 3-day every week, so it kicks off my weekend well. Favorite day of the year...4th of July...or the December 26th...because our office is closed from Xmas eve til the first Monday after New Years (PAID). Although I hate Xmas...its nice to have all that time off. DH takes it off too.
1. How was your weekend? Did you do anything interesting or productive? I went to the Nestie GTG on Friday, which was really enjoyable. It was fun meeting everyone and having some good conversations. I also took care of some work around the house and redecorated a bit.
2. If you didn't have to work today, what would you rather be doing? Where would you like to be? I would like to be sitting by the pool (in warmer weather) reading a good book.
3. What are you having for lunch? Do you normally bring your lunch to work or buy? I bring my lunch every day. Today is soup, homemade pasta salad, fruit, and baby carrots.
4. What's your favorite day of the week? What's your favorite day of the year? I love Saturdays. I don't think I have a favorite day of the year, but I love any holiday weekend.
1. How was your weekend? Did you do anything interesting or productive? I started mine off at work. I didn't get off until 6AM on Saturday. Then I worked again on Sunday.
2. If you didn't have to work today, what would you rather be doing? Where would you like to be? Technically I'm not working today!
I have today and tomorrow off. Except I'm babysitting for a co-worker who does have to work. But she's 11 so it's hardly "baby"sitting. But still, I'm using today to run errands.
3. What are you having for lunch? Do you normally bring your lunch to work or buy? We'll be going out. One of the perks of babysitting.
4. What's your favorite day of the week? What's your favorite day of the year? I like Saturdays. Sleep in, get stuff done, hang out. Wednesday are okay, too. The one day I have somewhat "normal" hours.

I just baby sat my 2 year old nephew, and went to the beach and out to lunch with my mom since it was her birthday.

I'm a stay at home mama, but, I'd rather be at the beach.

I grabbed Pizza Hut from Target, it was quick and easy.
4. What's your favorite day of the week? What's your favorite day of the year?
My favorite day of the week is Sunday, DH is off work and we usually do something. And, favorite day of the year, would have to be our anniversary or our son's birthday.

My weekend was nice. My brother and sister in law came down to visit from L.A. and we went to dinner at Gringo's in PB and to the beach. I also had to study for a class I'm taking. The first midterm is tomorow.
And I bought some new jeans and work clothes.
2. If you didn't have to work today, what would you rather be doing? Where would you like to be? I was not at work today i would rather be in Fiji laying on the beach.
3. What are you having for lunch? Do you normally bring your lunch to work or buy? Today I am having a lean cuisine panini. I bring my lunch about four days a week and eat out once. I work downtown next to Horton Plaza and there are so many options that I try to bring my lunch so I don't give into the unhealthy choices.
4. What's your favorite day of the week? What's your favorite day of the year? My favorite day of the week is Saturday. My favorite day of the year is New Years Eve I guess. I don't really have one favorite. Any day that I am on vacation is a favorite!

1. How was your weekend? Did you do anything interesting or productive?
The weekend was good...it was busy. Friday night, we got home from our vacation and made a late night Denny's run on the way home from the airport. Saturday, we ran some errands, shopped for birthday gifts and went to see The Dark Knight with a friend. Sunday was lazy until meeting the family for dinner to celebrate my mom and aunt's birthdays. We also got to video conference with the newest member of our family (he's almost 4 months) back east.
2. If you didn't have to work today, what would you rather be doing? Where would you like to be? Home...so, I could unpack and start massive laundry. I'd also probably become reacquainted with my old friend the couch to watch some bad daytime television and take a nap.
3. What are you having for lunch? Do you normally bring your lunch to work or buy? I am having soup...some Campbell's soup thing I bought on sale. I've been trying to be good and bring my lunch to work...I try to bring it at least 3-4 days a work and have been making batches of pasta salad on the weekend to bring for lunch.
4. What's your favorite day of the week? What's your favorite day of the year? My favorite day of the week is Sunday because we usually don't have plans and can relax and do whatever we want. My favorite day of the year is Thanksgiving...I love the family feeling and all the great food!

even though i lsd is wonderful, i would really love to be vacaying in the turtle islands or virgin islands

sandwich: turkey, havarti w/ dill cheese, lettuce, mayo on muti-grain bread & lime raspberry h2o.
bring one everyday! mh makes our lunches! yeah, i'm spoiled!

the weekend & any day off of work!
my favorite day this year will be when my baby brother is home safe & sound from his deployment~ sometime @ the end of november.
