As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. Need vibes for Saturday please
We made an appointment for Saturday to have our little Rylee put to sleep. She is a 15 year old shepherd / dobie mix that we adopted at 12 years old. She was a dog from a rescue that got her from a shelter in GA that was going to put her down - they had actually put her in the doggie gas chamber at one point, then changed their minds and let the rescue group take her. In fact she is the dogs story listed under " why we do it" on our rescue groups website.
She has had several strokes, can't get up or down anymore, isn't really eating and had arthritis so bad she can't bend three of her legs. She is also mostly blind. It is time for us to let her go where she can be whole and healthy again.
She is a sweet little angel girl whom Annie loves completely. Annie lights up and babbles nonstop at her when Rylee comes near her. I have always said it is because they were the two in the house closest to heaven. One on her way in and one on her way out.
It's hard to type this though the tears. So if you have any spare thoughts for my puppy on saturday I would really appreciate it.
