Today, I am thankful that I got paid on Christmas Eve. I was cutting it a bit close and getting paid today instead of tomorrow will insure that MIL gets the finest glittered poinsettia in the land.
Though I wont really be celebrating much, I am thankful for the memories I have of amazing Christmas' of past. Holidays will never be the same but I am thankful for the ones that I was able to share with her and hope to some day make them just as special for my own Children.
I am thankful for 3 days off. Though I wish it were longer, I need some time off right now before I go BSC. I am thankful for booze, sweet puppy kisses, great friends, and lastly my ever charming Novembies. You girls RAWK!
So tell us, what are you thankful for this holiday season, specifically today and tomorrow.
Re: Merry Thankful Thursday Christmas
I am thankful for another Christmas with my mom. We were told last year she wouldn't make it to Christmas and this will be her second. I only hope she continues to prove them wrong.
I am also thankful for my family, friends and you ladies.
I am thankful for my job and Dh's job so we were able to provide my son with everything he wanted for Christmas. I hope he will cherish these memories.
Merry Chrismas Everyone!!
I am thankful for my rocking Novembie buddies. Seriously ladies, I love you girls. I don't know what I would do without you - you always listen to me vent and I know I can tell you stuff that I can't always tell my IRL friends. Merry Christmas girls
I am thankful for Hunter right now. Dec. 24th is when I had an ultrasound last year that showed a lack of growth. ALthough I truly didn't start having a m/c until a week later, the 24th was the day I realized that the pregnancy might not take. So I am so so grateful that my little boy is here, is healthy (and huge) and that I can pick him up and kiss him.
I am thankful for DH, who would do anything for both of us.
I am thankful for my family, including my ILs. Even my SIL. Everything my family does, they do out of love, and they are the most supportive people I know.
I am thankful for doggies that keep my toes warm on winter nights and cover my face with kisses on winter mornings.
Lastly, I am thankful for gingerbread coffee creamer. Flippin' delicious and puts me in the holiday mood.
Oh, and decorated sugar cookies. Nom nom nom.
I am thankful for my second official Christmas as Mrs. DH, I know that I go on about him a lot, but I really do think that I am the luckiest woman in the world to have him in my life.
I am thankful that my boss was crazy this week, so I already worked my 20 hrs this week and was able to take today and tomorrow off!
I am thankful that although I don;t get to be with my mom on Christmas, that I still have my dad smom and sisters to spend Christmas with. I have spent many Christmas' on my own or with some random friends family, and it means so much to me to be able to spend it with my own family. I am also thankful to have a warm home where the family can gather for holidays, including dinner tonight. AND I am thankful that Dad is going to try to get here for dinner tonight!
I am thankful that this baby girl started kicking up a storm this week reminding me on a regular basis that she is here and doing well.
And of course, I am thankful for all of you. This has been a pretty hard year for me with work and my crazy little sister, and no matter how much I b!tch and complain, you all let me vent and have wonderful words of wisdom or compassion.
I'm thankful for being able to see my whole family over the next few days. Even though they all live close by I rarely see them because things are just so busy.
I'm thankful for my home and being able to have a warm meal every night of the week and still being able to afford Christmas presents for everyone that I love.
I'm thankful for you ladies too, you are all so awesome! I hope each and every one of you has an excellent holiday!
Merry Christmas ladies!
I'm thankful that M has this amazing opportunity right now to advance his career even further. This was seriously the best Christmas present we could've asked for!
I'm thankful that my little bro will get to spend the holidays with us... Next year he will more than likely be in Bahrain, so this year is going to be very special.
And of course, I'm thankful for all of you Novembies!! You girls are all amazing, and I'm so so thankful to have such a great group of friends. I just wish all of us lived closer together! You all are there for me so much more than my IRL friends. I told M last night you all are like an extended family to me!! Love you girls!!
As usually I'm late to all the subjects of of the day. Anyway, I'm thankful to my amazing husband who keeps surprising me. Our trip to the Bahamas was amazing. My husband surprised me with the private cabana! It was the best beach experience I've ever had. By the way, we stayed at the Cove, Atlantis resort. We laughed about the fact that people usually go there for the 10th year anniversary or the 15th year. well....we went for our 1st one! As if it was so hard to make it through the first year of marriage
I'm very thankful to my husband for giving such an amazing gift to us for our first anniversary.
I'm thankful that my parents will be coming to spend New Years with us. It will be fun for them to walk to the red square, go to a steak house and a theater while they are in Moscow!
I'm thankful to spend my 4th Christmas with my husband ( well twice as married and twice just together).
Most of all I'm thankful that he made his choice to spend the rest of his life with me!
