RPOTD i've been talking about being Italian for about an hour now
it's a little fun. waaaaay tacky, but that's a part of the "lifestyle" anyway, right? lol
one supervisor is so pro-italian. he loves being italian and everything about it, so whenever he can bring it up, he sure does.
his mom also lives around the block from where i now live, and he's going to C. Eve dinner around the block from where we're going tonight. apparently us italians do not divert from specific areas on the map.
and we're also talking about fish dinner, and how my husband is italian.... blah blah blah.
it feels very weird. i never just talk about being italian. but it's funny to see other people do it as if they ever had control over their heritage.
and ftr, i am sooooo looking forward to fish tonight!

i think it's more of a catholic tradition than anything else, but i'm not 100%sure. we've just always had fish on Christmas eve. one coworker was talking about how fun it is to be puerto rican and have fish dinner tonight.
