Gift Idea: Baseball and/or Football watching kit - need help.

Hey gals!  My husband came up with the idea of giving his friends a  baseball or football watching kit.  We are going to put popcorn and candy in it along with a glass bottle of coke.  Do you have any other ideas that might look good in this kit.  I am coming up blank!  Thanks!!!

Re: Gift Idea: Baseball and/or Football watching kit - need help.

  • Maybe something with a logo on it from their fave teams? Or a mini logo football or basketball? I'm coming up blank, too!

  • How about a chip and dip bowl in their team's colors?  Include some salsa.  Sweat pants from the team so they can watch in comfort?
  • My mom had a 10x14 laminated card with all of the college football game schedules on it this past season. It was great to be able to look up any game any week. It might be hard to put together in the off-season, but you could probably do a card for each of their favorite team's schedules.
  • Beer.

  • How about a book that is team-centric?

    There are team history books, autobiographies, coffee table books, football and baseball trivia books -- Baseball Babylon is a good one.

    • Beer
    • Some beer cozies to keep  the bottles cold - extra points if you find them with a team logo;
    • Chips and dip
    • Salsa
    • My H likes to eat crackers and cheese or salami when he watches sports
    • Maybe a gift certificate for Pizza Hut or another pizza delivery place
    • Some sort of team logo keychain, beer glass, mini football or baseball, etc.
    • Did you try looking at www.mlb.com or www.nfl.com yet?  You may get some inspiration there.

    Good luck; sounds like a fun and cute idea!
