Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

christmas disaster! **update**
the good news: my parents were completely blown away with their vacation gift!
the bad news: DH's heart is bigger then his brain. a few weeks ago he told his mom that she could come with us. now he's rethunk it and decided that since the gift was really from me & my brother to our parents maybe his mom shouldn't go. all fine and good except that his mom is pretty excited about it too. now we have to tell her the bad news but how??
oh what a mess.
mil stopped over this morning to see Michael. DH talked to her, told her that my brother was paying for most of the trip and that he had no right to invite anyone. she understood. i think it helped that michael was in a good mood and playing with her and that her other son is coning home tonight for a week- softend the blow so to speak. she's pretty easy going but i certanily didn't want to hurt her feelings. i told DH that we definitely have to do more things with her and michael.
