What'd You Get??
I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas! I know I did, all sides of the family were really good to me this year. I got this gorgeous red pea coat from my mother, some nice tops from my dad and stepmom, perfume and bath goodies from FI, the greatest pj pants every made from FI's grandmother, a purse from FI's parents, and a Wii as a joint gift for FI and I from his parents as well. And last but not least- the #1 thing I have been wanting all year long- FI is signing the papers to accept a counter-offer on a house that we're wanting to buy! What are some gifts that you've recieved this Christmas?

My DH went above and beyond this year. He got me the Kindle with international coverage. Since we live in Germany on a very small AF base, my access to books is slim.
Plus he got me a new LL Bean backpack.
We usually have a $150 limit.
Nothing really much from the BIL'S and SIL'S or my family, but my DH remembered a comment I made in passing many months ago. While watching a TV commercial from a jewelry store, I said " You know, the only thing that I don't have are real pearls." So, he surprised me with a beautiful string of pearls, as well as a heart shaped ring with diamonds.
...and I always think that he doesn't pay attention to me. I guess I'm wrong.
