Nolensville

Hey there, We are planning on putting an offer on a house out there. Any nesties out there? Any thoughts? TIA> It would be in the Stonebrook subdivision.

Re: Nolensville

  • We used to live out that way.  My biggest concern for you would be Nolensville Rd.  It's only two lanes and is a total PITA during rush hour...and you know they're going to get around to widening it someday and that won't be fun at all.  I'm not sure where Stonebrook is, but I'd just consider how close you are to where you need to be - do you have access to the interstate and everyday things like the grocery and gas station?  The less time spent sitting on Nolensville Rd the better.
  • DH used to live out that way and said that there are a lot of cops out there too, so no speeding at all.  Other than that he really loved it.
April is National Grilled Cheese Month. How are you celebrating? image
  • I'm not sure where Stonebrook is, but we live in Brentwood on the edge of Nolensville (off Concord and Sunset road). There is a Publix, Kroger and Walgreens all at Nolensville and Concord Road. The cop thing that pp mentioned is because once you enter the "city limits" of Nolensville it is a 30 mph and they love to catch people speeding.I think the area is really growing and good things are going to happen in Nolensville over the next few years as more development comes in.
  • I should clarify, we live off of Nolensville road right now. We live in Stanford Village. We just got our puppy and want to move now so we can get a nice big backyard we can fence in. I have heard they are going to be putting a dog park in and a Home Dept and Target soon! Yea! Wish Mill Creek Foods was still open
  • A dog park in Nolensville?  Oh how I hope that is true.  We live in Nashville near Nippers Corner so not far from there.

  • Bosco - are you still going to Zumba?  I really need to get my butt in gear.  I haven't been to the Y in months (hangs head in shame).  I think I am going to go to Zumba at MF on Saturday.

  • kelly, yes there should be a dog park in nolensville by next year. if google online you can find more info on it. I am only getting to sunday 12:30 at concord road zumba. Have not really taken to the new zumba instructor's style on saturdays. Would love to get to maggie's class at mf on wednesday nights at 5:30. might shoot for next week.
  • Hmmm I might have to try for next weds class too.  What kind of puppy did you get?

  • I live in East Franklin, which is about 5 miles from Nolensville. I drive through there often on Horton Hwy/Nolensville Rd. I have never thought the traffic was bad at all! It's no worse than Hwy 96 anyway. And gosh....I speed like crazy....especially through there with the exception being the historic district since there are pedestrians. I never notice any cops out that way.

    ?

Nolensville is a very nice area. It is nice & quiet, but I am sure that it will be pretty developed soon! ?
