Back to normal?

Hey ladies...quick question...how long did it take you guys to get back to "normal" after you stopped taking BC. I quit about a month ago and am almost two weeks past my usual period but feel like absolute crap. Just curious how much longer to expect this?

It took me almost 10 months. Maybe longer -  but that is when we finally got pregnant.

I was normal the first month.  But everyone is different.  I've seen girls that have gone over 100 days without it so keep an eye on it.  If you don't see it in a while definitely see your doctor.

I asked the same question on here when I stopped my BC, the answers really varried, so I think its different for everyone.

I stopped my BC at the end of september and have had 2 cycles of about 40 days each so far (before going on BC 5 years ago my cycles were 28-30 days, so its much longer now). But like I said, I've only been off a few months, so I dont know how long it'll be or if I'll ever get back to my previous "normal".

But do keep an eye on it... and see a doctor if you don't get it soon.

It definitely varies from woman to woman.  I went off BC in mid October and have had pretty short cycles since - 27, 26, 25 days so far.  If you go 60 days without AF, call your doctor.

I was back to normal a month or 2 after I stopped BCP.  Differs from woman to woman.

I was on BCP for about 6 months, every month on the pill af got lighter and lighter, when I finished my last pack af never did show up. I've tested and I'm not preg yet (I stopped the pill because we are ttc) and I am due for it again in about 3 weeks... I've heard of people being perfectly normal and getting preg right away and then I know people who have taken 2 years to get back to normal/preg after...
