Since our personal donor isn't returning calls or emails, I've gone back to the drawing board and am checking sperm banks again. Our local sperm banks have very few donors that match our criteria (Hispanic and Anon, you would think we could find more donors...) so we have expanded our search. I found a bank in Washington that has affordable rates and has a California license... Does having the license in California mean that they can ship vials here?
Re: Sperm Bank Question
Not sure about your shipping question. Are you using an RE or doing at home insems? If you are using a doc then I would call and aske them who they recommend to use. Our office would only use donors from 3 banks because they were the ones they had luck with.
Good luck

If it is the bank I am thinking of they have offices in both states, hence the dual license. Most banks we have worked with can ship to CA. There is a notable exception and that bank does not have the best track record for donor testing or customer service anyway, so you are not missing out IMHO. When your inquire any bank will tell you if they cannot work in your state or not.
Good Luck!
