New Digital Camera - Help??
I'm looking to treat myself and buy a new digital camera. The last few camera's I've purchased, I've never really put a lot of thought into them; I would just buy the one that was the least expensive. But now I want to treat myself and get a really nice one.
I want to get a slim camera that has a feature that elimates shaky pictures and one that I can take good detail pictures with. I'm going to several weddings this year and I really want to be able to document them through pictures.
I like Sony, Nikon and Canon, and am only looking to spend about $200.
Any suggestions??? TIA!!

I've only used Canons -- look for models with "IS" at the end (image stabilization).

I love the canon cameras. For christmas I just got the canon power shot digital elph SD1200 IS for about $150 and I love it. I had the older version SD1100 and the new one is a replacement due to the husband dropping it in the river while fly fishing. I could have cried! It takes great pictures and isn't difficult to work.

I probably will go with a Canon. I used to own one until it got stolen in Mexico. After that I had an HP and a Polaroid. Definitely need to switch back to the high quality.
