I got cash money, and a coat, and lots of socks, and some ugly jewelry (it's hearts, Zilla, do you want it?? :P)
and a soul drawing for me and FI from this Irish artist who omg I could have melted listening to him speak.
i'm here.
working from home, so I'll spend 1/2 of the day in the kitchen (making chili, minestrone, swedish meatballs, and possibly french onion soup)
Christmas was nice - we spent it with the ILs. Niece and Nephew are cute - Nephew is about 21mos, and he knows who all of the aunts and uncles are (by name) even though he's only met us a few times. He was standing in the middle of the room picking his nose and i told him to wipe his hand on Tundra (the ILs' dog) and he did. it was funny. he was also sitting on my lap at one point, and I told him that the last time he sat on me like that (on his 1st b-day) that he peed on me - and he turned around and looked at me and said "PEE!"
I got some Godiva, a diamond snowflake necklace from Ken, a sapphire and diamond bracelet from my ILs, a Penguins sweatshirt and some cash from my parents, and a bunch of DVDs. Good haul. :-)
I can't believe it's Monday already.
H and I got an iPod touch to share (which works out well), a starbucks $100 gc (yes!), some cooking things, books, dvds, running clothes, etc. It was very unexpected and VERY appreciated. I enjoyed my Christmas more than most christmases. I fell on my a$$ yesterday though, getting out of the truck and my neck is really crunchy.
I'll manage though.
I got Chinese food twice! We saw 2 movies, hung out around the house and then last night I made dinner and had my parents over. Now it's another 3 day week.
Got a lot of nice stuff from DH. Sweaters, cat calendars, leopard print steering wheel cover, a bubble umbrella, a Lindemans gift set (I now have my own glass!!), a Swarovski crystal necklace...I'm probably forgetting a few things. Mom gave us a Wegman's gift card and I got one for NY & Co. Between MIL and FIL we got over 5 grand in moola. Whoo hoo! The perfect gift.
