I hope everyone had an amazing Christmas!
We had a wonderful time on our trip to Gatlinburg last week. The cabin we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous and the view from our balcony was just breathtaking. We went to the Aquarium, drove through the Smokies, went snowtubing and relaxed a lot. There was sooooo much snow! We felt like little kids throwing snowballs at each other but it was a blast.
We can hardly wait to go back! DH wants to go in the summer for all of the warmer activities, like white water rafting and fishing.
So what's good, everyone? Anyone else go away?

I saw some of your pics on fb. They were beautiful!!! What a way to spend Christmas.
My Christmas was ok...for the most part. Grandma feel on Christmas eve around 9pm and she was in pain so I had to call the rescue and go with her to the hospital. Waited several hours and after many xrays found out she was ok- Thank Goodness! Best Christmas gift was the fact that she had no broken bones. Besides that scare, My hubby was very good to me on Christmas day...I can't complain God was watching over us.
So happy to hear you had a great time. It sounds like you had a blast. Would love to see a picture of your trip. One with lots and lots of snow :0
My Christmas was great. It was my first year hosting it so it was alot of hard work but thankfully everything turned out great.
Eli - I too saw pics on FB, and you only got me more excited about my trip! Glad you had a great time.
JLo - glad your grandmas was okay! What a scary Noche Buena.
As for us, can't complain. Santa brough me an iPhone! We spent the 24th and 25th with family and friends. We had a wonderful weekend, and now we are in the hurry to get packed and out of here!

Thanks Jackie. Luckilly it was nothing more than a scare. People at her age usually break their hip or other bones and stuff. She didn't break a thing and it was a bad fall. She missed a step on my moms concrete porch.
Have fun on your trip! It must be so nice to go skiing and see snow this time of year!

Jenny - glad grandma just scared you and it wasn't something serious (like a broken hip)...you have to be very careful with those falls, my grandma has fallen a couple of time, and it scares us, so I know how you must have been feeling.
Christmas was nice, it's so nice to see my nephews and niece's face as they open their gifts...

Our Christmas was absolutely perfect. We spend Noche Buena at the big party at my sister's house with everyone, then Christmas morning we opened gifts together - ALONE. We have never been able to open gifts alone, we always have opened them with family. DH made me waffles with the new waffle maker which were delicious! At night we went to my brother's house for a more intimate dinner which was sooo yummy. Ina Garten would have been impressed.
All in all I felt so blessed and happy.
Jenny, thank God your grandma is ok! It happens, but it's scary nonetheless.
