So, I made a res. at Liliana's - got there, checked in, waited, waited, waited some more.
They started seating people with reservations later than ours. They totally forgot about us! Ben was having a meltdown from waiting so long, so we left & ended up getting Chang Jiang take out.
I was looking forward to trying Liliana's, too! Hmph!

I sent an email (There's an address on their website for customer service emails, but it looks like the owner is the one it gets sent to) We'll see what happens...
OMG, who does that? Jerks.
You should have set their car on fire just to teach them a lesson.
I got yelled at at CF once because someone left before their buzzer rang, so they gave it to us on their way out the door. The hostess yelled at me when I checked in (with their buzzer) because I clearly wasn't "Ron." I LOLed at her.
So I emailed & just heard back from the owner - he apologized profusely, said they ended up serving about 350 people, and were only expecting like 80, but said that's not an excuse & he's terribly sorry we left disappointed.
He sent a gift card & it's less than I thought it would be (it wouldn't really cover a meal for just one of us)...but it's more than he is required to do. I think next time we go there, we'll make sure it's on a less busy night.
Oh, one more thing. Matt thinks the amount of the GC is to see if we're serious about coming back and trying it again, or if we're just a bunch of greedy bastards looking for a free meal.
The owner did ask that we email him before we come in next so he can come out and personally apologize to us, so Matt thinks maybe more might be offered at that time, once he sees how awesome we are
Or...we could just sit at the bar and have a few free drinks...
