i'm here, trying to be productive though feeling PMSy and overly emotional (TMI? lol). we had a couple tantrums this weekend that are weighing on my mind and the bio visit planned for today didn't happen (not for any fault of myself or bio mom), so i'm worried that i'm heading home this evening to another one.
We had a nice, busy, holiday. The kids were very well behaved all day and we may have even gotten our first family photo. i'm waiting to get them back from my dad, but if there's a good one in the bunch, it will certainly be my highlight

We had a fun Christmas. Annie opened her first gift ( a glowworm) and then couldn't care less about anything else. Everytime we would open something else she would look at it like "okay.... but where did you set down my glowworm?"
It was a little hard celebrating knowing what we were having to do on Saturday. Things went okay with Rylee though. It was very quiet at my vets office and she is so good with animals I honestly don't think Rylee felt a thing. She crossed over with me petting her head and telling her how loved she was. We still all cry everytime we talk about her or think about her, but I know in my heart she is better off.
Now only one week til we go home.

I thought of you and Rylee this weekend. I'm certain she thanks you for your decision and is in a place where she can feel much better. You're entitled to cry as long as you need to.
Cymru-We were thinking of you this weekend as well. I am glad it was peaceful and painless for Rylee. ((HUGS))
We had a wonderful holiday. I teared up a million times this weekend, it was so amazing that we had two children with us during the holiday season, finally! I was overwhelmed with love for them, by the love they were shown by our family and a little with fear that they won't be with us next year. I wish I could post pictures of them in their holiday dresses, they look so beautiful and happy. I will keep those dresses forever, no matter what happens.

Thanks. I put on FB status, "You shouldn't call it a vacation if you bring kids along." My friend wrote back, "No. That is called a trip." So true.
We thought the kids were old enough to kinda go with the flow a bit more than they really are. The day we made it a point to go back to the hotel for a decent nap, was the only good day we had.
