It's both fun and frustrating asshit.

We beat all 8 worlds and opened up World 9. 

 

The thing with World 9 is that you have to get all the star coins in a previous world to open up one level of level 9. 

Are you looking for specifics, or just an overview? 

 If Mario gets 99 lives he'll lose his hat, but Luigi will not. I was very angry to find that out, after dying over and over and over again to get those damn multiple lives.

4 player is fun, especially when drinking. Commonly heard phrases in my house include:

"I'm a bubble, I'm a bubble!!"

"Stop throwing me in the lava!"

"Quit taking all the penguin mushrooms!"

 

Highly recommended by the Jojo household.

Oh! If you're playing with someone, and you almost die, hit A. It'll throw you in a bubble, thus preserving your life. Then you shake your remote violently as though you're having a seizure until it floats over to your partner so they can pop it and let you out.

Um, it's pretty much awesome. DH and I are having so much fun with it even though I totally suck.

The video store has 2 copies. 1 copy was due back 12/1 and the other is continually checked out. H wants me to try it before spending the money on it to find it sucks. I can't try it because there is never a copy available. So I'm getting reviews from Amazon and from you.

It's definitely worth buying. You can find it on sale. If you wait a few weeks I bet Game Stop will have used copies. You really should befriend a Game Stop manager.

I might go trade in a couple of our crappy games (Spyro, Pirates of the Caribbean) and get me a new copy of MB.
