Am I asking for too much?
Just one baby, for now anyhow!
It seems all the girls I grew up with (most are significantly younger than me) are pregnant with there second baby, and the rest are pregnant with there first or have already had them.
I know 26 seems young, but in the circle I grew up in, you start having babies at 20! And boy am I behind!! haha!!
We have been trying since October, and I have a Drs appt on the 6th of August to talk about meds..... grrr, why is it so hard!!
Ok, I'm done!! haha!! Just feeling alone tonight!
Re: Am I asking for too much?
26 is young! Well at least to this old person. I didn't even get married until I was 27. I just had my first baby at 31.
If you haven't already you should read Taking Charge of My Fertility. I borrowed it from the local library. I also used http://www.fertilityfriend.com You can track your cycles and know when the best chances are.
I second KML! (36 when married and had DS#1)
Are you confident about knowing when you ovulate? I thought I would be like the "average" woman and O on day 14, but I'm a late O'er. It happens anywhere from day 17 to day 21 for me. If I hadn't been charting, I would have never known, and we would have been "trying" at the wrong time each month.
I'm not saying cancel your dr appt. Hopefully, he/she will be able to give you a lot of the answers you are looking for. Good luck!
I'm so sorry you're feeling down... TTC can suck when those BFN's keep showing their ugly faces.
Normally doctors will run tests if you've been trying for a year with no success but it definitely helps to be aggressive if you feel like there might be something wrong. That's what I did and was put on fertility meds immediately... I would have wasted a lot of time trying on my own with no chance at being pg if I waited too long to see the doctor.
Also, OPK's and the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor are a girls best friend for knowing when you ovulate.
Hang in there sweetie... PM/email me if you wanna talk.
I'm sorry hun.. I can imagine that is very irritating. I hope the doctor has a solution for you.
Just so you know, I think about you often. I have been sending baby vibes your way, and I will continue to do so.
