Wow...that's so crazy.

I was at a house party then and I'll be at a house party this year. Wow. I've evolved as a person, haven't I?

The house party in '99 was in Lakewood, and this one is on the bay in Newport, so I guess I have taken a little step up.

I was in Vegas. Sounds way more fun than it actually was since I was only 20 at the time, it was freezing cold, my best friend and I were fighting, and there were about 10 zillion people there. 

ETA: This year I'm going to an engagement party that starts at six and I'm praying doesn't hold the expectation of staying until midnight so I can ring in 2010 in a less geeked out way.

I was in Vegas too!

There were like, 10 of us crammed in 1 hotel room at the Monte Carlo.

I wore some sweet shiny silver pants and a tube top. In 30 degree weather. On the strip.

This year we will probably do something low-key with friends at someone's house. No extra money to go big this year.

I had a Y2K party at my apartment in San Dimas. I had tons of beer and my brothers and their friend crashed the party and got wasted.  Their friend proceeded to fall down and put a hole through my wall with his head.  Good timez.

This year I will be asleep in my bed.

Ten years ago I was at a party at my boyfriend's parents' house. This year, probably going to my BFF's house for a party.

Disneyland....(i was 15 @ the time)

I was at a house party with some of my friends...wearing a fuzzy leopard cami and 4 inch velvet, red heels. I was sooo cold and my shoes got muddy. 

This year I will be in Dubai with my daughter and my husbands family....very, very different!

I was at a house party in Irvine drinking Zima's and I was 17. Kim - I wonder if your brothers' friend was at my party too... somebody busted down the bathroom door.

I was at a house party at a friend of my ex husbands house.  I got food poisoning and was in the bathroom all night and sick the whole next day.  Worst day ever.

I had a fight with my boyfriend so I was at home crying my eyes out with my mom and her friends (who gave me wine coolers - klassy!).

I was sick with the flu, so was H.  We were fighting at the time, at my house in San Diego.

I was in vegas as well - we went super last minute and ended up meeting up with friends and somehow got into a high-roller's party at some hotel.  it was fun!

this year - I think we're staying home, drinking champagne and staying mellow.  last year was b.a.d.

I was 15 desperately wishing I was older, so I could go out all night.

I was at a house party in San Francisco with my boyfriend (now husband). We had been dating for 3 months at the time. It was kind of crazy in the city because of Y2K, businesses were boarded up and there was a general chaos on the streets. We took a cab home and I was so drunk that I insisted on taking my drink with me, martini glass and all.
