New Year's Day party...

My husband and I started a tradition of having a family New Year's Day party a few years ago since everyone is all over the place on the eve.  This year is forecasting different amounts of snow throughout New Jersey.  My question is, how much snow should I see before I cancel?  I have never had to go through weather issues and party planning, so I'm a bit frazzled?!

Re: New Year's Day party...

  • We went thru this last NYE. We always have a family party at our house & it snowed really bad. I say see how it goes. If the roads are nasty & no one feels comfortable driving then cancel. I'm lucky enough to have everyone live about 10min from my house but if your having ppl from out of town it might be good to really watch the weather channel & see how the roads are. Hopefully it won't be that bad. Good luck!
