NYE

Some questions..

What are you doing for NYE?

Because I am F&B obsessed, what are you wearing? PIP would be extra points, lol.

If you hate NYE, why?

Re: NYE

  • Sadly I'm sitting on my couch, probably knitting and wearing my jammies.  DH is working 2nd shift and will be home at 11:30pm just in time for the ball to drop.
  • We're going out to dinner earlier in the evening and then will be home for the night.  Sadly, I'll probably be asleep before midnight this year.  I may try and pick up some sparkling cider at least so I feel like I had a sip of champagne.

I just can't believe this year is almost over and soon we'll be in 2010 and the year my daughter is due to be born!  This pregnancy is flying by.

  • I hope to be able to stay home and watch movies. My brother may be coming down to visit and so we may take him out but nothing's set in stone yet. We were invited to a party but they live in MA and I don't want to stay over or drive home that late so I don't think we'll go.
  • im working new years day, so no staying up for the ball drop for me. i have to go home for a funeral on NYE, so its actually a really stinky end to 2009 for me :-(

Sorry to hear about your lost..Sad, not the way you want to ring in the new year, huh?

  • MH and I are going to his brother's and his brother's fiance's house. They're having a "house" party, which really isn't my style..keg(I don't drink beer), pool(I don't know how to play), hot tub(alcohol+hot tubs don't really go together in my opinion, scandelous), a dj(I guess that might be good...).  IDK, I'm just not really looking forward to it, I'd rather go out to like a bar or something or just stay home.  But, I am going to try and have fun..and I have a really cuuuute outfit to wear, so thats a plus. I don't usually drink (lately, TTC) but I'm thinking of getting some champagne to help make the night go faster...
  • We are going out for a late dinner in New Haven, and will probably ring in the new year there. Afterwards, we are heading over to one of DH's cousin's house. They have a party every year. I am wearing a cute dress with tights and booties. Can't wait!

  • We are braving the snow and heading to Boston.  We have tickets to see Dane Cook and reservations at a cute French Bistro.  Then we are bumming around Boston and heading back to CT tomorrow.
  • I hope everyone had an awesome NYE & NYD!!
