Recommend your laptop
So our laptop bit the dust last week and we are looking for a new one. We have seen a lot of deals pop up but I don't know the difference between the brands and I was jut wondering what everyone has and if they like it.
Mine was a Dell that I got back in 2001 and I liked it but I'd really just like to get th least expensive if it happens to be another brand.

My desktop and laptop are both HP's. I love them and have never had any issues.
A computer geek friend of mine once told me that they are all about the same, the brand is just a shell.
The important things about your computer are the processor and how much hard drive space you have; those will determine how fast it will go. The pp was right in saying that the outside is basically just a shell (with the exception of Macs).
I just got a Dell laptop for work that has the Intel Core 2 Duo processor and tons of memory, I love it
