Alright, so I had my c-section aver 3 months ago and I am still having pain around my incision site. My skin is tender to the touch and it sometimes will hurt when I am just sitting. I also have a very physical job and I work 4 days a week, but it hurts even on the days I don't work....almost daily in fact. So I finally decided that enough was enough and called the OB and made an appt. I'm not sure what they will be able to tell me, but I don't feel like I should still be having pain......what do you think??
Re: Biting the bullet....
That's part of what prompted my call......
Eek. ?I know that SOME pain and tenderness is normal and can last up to a year or more, from what I've been told. ?My pain level has been pretty bad, which is how they discovered the entrapped nerve. ?I've been getting weekly nerve block injections and if that doesn't work, surgery is the next step.
I'm glad you're at least going in to get checked. ?I really hope you don't have to deal with this much longer! ?Feel better, and let us know how it goes!?
