It was my husbands first concert too...and he admits it!
I can trump your DC Talk with Age of Faith! How's that for obscure Christian band reference!
Other than that - maybe the Hurricane Andrew relief concert in Miami in 92? Don't really remember who played - I do remember Gloria Estefan was there.

Randy Travis was the headliner, Clint Black was the opening act (he was at the very beginning of his career) and I think Tammy Wynett (sp) performed between them. I was 18, I think.

I can't believe other people remember them! N'Sync was the big band when I was a teenybopper, but I only had eyes for DC!
I so wanted to marry Kevin Smith!!

Sixth grade - NKOTB baby! For my bday, and my parents escorted me and my friends.
The next one I remember was freakin' Michael Bolton - ahh, the horror!! I think that was 8th grade...and either b/c I was so mature or b/c even my parents didn't want to see him, me and two friends got to go alone!
My parents took me to an Alabama concert when I was a little kid. honestly dont really remember it.
I used to go to the concerts at Arti-Gras and Sun Fest when I was younger but those are really the only "concerts" I have ever been to.
