Good wireless all in one printer?

I'm on my second Kodak printer and it just isn't holding up well.  The picture quality is severly lacking compared to what it was a year ago so I'm thinking of treating myself to a new printer.  I was looking for a printer that is wireless so I can print from my laptop, has a good print quality and can scan.

I'm checking out the reviews on cnet but wanted to see if anyone had any good recommendations?

  • Canon MP620 - love it.  Can normally get it for under $100 if you look around.

There is some tweaking involved if you have Windows 7 (I recently upgraded from Vista), but it still works like a charm once you get the drivers sorted out.  Install for XP/Vista is a piece of cake.

  • I have a Canon 4 in one and like it, except for the fact that if it is out of ink, it won't let you use the scanner!  Maybe all combo printers do this.  Other than that, I do like it.

  • Also, this question used to get asked a ton on the paper Knot board.  Tons of people love the MP620 there...I orig bought it to do all my menus, programs, etc.

  • I have an HPC2700 and I love it! I used it to make everything for my wedding, shower, thank you's etc as well as other invitations along the way. It prints lots of various sizes and does it very well. The printer was about $200 and the ink refills are about $50 for all of the colors together. It lasts quite a long time too IMO. Hth.
Baby, you've got the sort of eyes that tell me tales...
