We have the opportunity to get either a new iPod Nano or a Flip video camera for free. Which one would you get and why?
Background: We currently have no video camera (other than my digital camera that takes video) but don't know if we would really take videos that much. We also already have 2 iPod shuffles, 1 old Nano (like from when they first came out) and an iPod touch.
Thoughts/suggestions? Thanks!
Re: iPod Nano vs. Flip
This might be useful for you: Ultimate Pocket Camcorder Comparison, by Gizmodo. They'll compare your choices based on the camcorder side of things.
In my opinion, I'd take the Flip. The iPod can take video, but since it's not the main function it's not the best at it. And since you already have some iPods you don't really need another.
The only reason I'd suggest the iPod Nano over the Flip is if you don't think you'll ever record anything (or if you do, it will be once in a blue moon).
