Chinese food on NYE??

Ok - so back east, having Chinese food is a HUGE thing to do on NYE. Like so huge that you have to sometimes order a day or two in advance and then you still end up waiting an hour even though you gave the place the time you want to pick up dinner....

That being said, is it the same way out here in AZ? We generally have chinese on NYE so I dont want to be surprised if we go get it and cant because of the wait. I'd rather order it in advance.. (if I can find a place to order from).

Re: Chinese food on NYE??

  • Honestly, I have NO IDEA how/why it is like that. Seems that Maine/New Hampshire/Massachuettes (only reason I know these states is because I lived in them for a lon time) all have this crazy must eat Chinese on NYE thing. LoL...  We've been doing it since I was little. It's tradition..  LoL

  • I've never heard of that, I can't really see it being a problem to get Chinese Food (unless they're just busy from people ordering take out/not wanting to cook).

  • Oh I see, thats cool though. But you should be ok here with ordering food unless we do it here and I havent heard about it. But then again, I dont like Chinese food.
